Can you please make sure you are trying to upload the valid SRT file type? May be try to open the “.srt” file in the notepad (or anyother text editor) and see if it only has Asscii or Unicode characters, and format is valid SRT.

Hello and thanks for a great program !
The Google translate is very fast, but it makes a lot of errors.
My question is: Is there a way you could use a slower Google translate which will make a moore perfect translation ?
Or ? Is there only one option ?
    Kind Regards

      Torbjorn,

No, I don’t think there is any slower version which works better than current one. I think this is best a machine translation could do for now. But this will hopefully improve with time (algorithms, hardware and data improves).

Can you please try to remove any special characters from the file name being uploaded? Ideally, only use the alphabets and numeric characters in the file name. Hope this helps.

The filetype you are attempting to upload is not allowed.
    File Type: application/x-subrip

Yes, that of course is the correct mimetype for .srt-files.

    Dear sir,

Thanks for making such website, but it could not process fastly at 512 kbs speed and taking too much time to found the “translate to language box” to select.options box are in hidden mode. we can’t access or select it. After upload file icon selection the window are in idle stage for too long, and we could not found whether it processing or stopped. Make do the needful and set some icons or symbols for symbolize the processing status.

      Srinivas,

Thanks for sharing feedback and notes. We are having some site performance issue due to heavy load. I will try to switch to some fast server, or at least add some progress message soon.

Hi, your site is great! The only thing is that my subs are coming translated all disorganized, i mean, everything gets together with no space between them.
    Could you fix this?

    Thanks in advance.

Hey man! the subs get all disorganized and with no spaces between them as i said before… but, they work normally! lol
But if you wanna know how it looks like its something like this when i open the sub with notepad:

        Normal sub:

        1
        00:00:02,923 –> 00:00:04,006
        Charlie bradbury.

        2
        00:00:04,008 –> 00:00:04,890
        Charlie.

        3
        00:00:04,892 –> 00:00:05,925
        Charlie.

        4
        00:00:05,927 –> 00:00:06,976
        What’s up, bitches?

And here sub after translation to my language:

        200:00:04,008 –> 00:00:04,890Charlie.300:00:04,892 –> 00:00:05,925Charlie.400:00:05,927 –> 00:00:06,976O que há, cadelas?
