When I want to translate subtitles using OpenAI, why does this message appear?
Unfortunately, the translation process failed with the following error:
Error: insufficient_quota:You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details. For more information on this error, read the docs: https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/error-codes/api-errors.
I will be shortly looking into this. If this is a server problem, your money will be refunded in next 1-2 days. If it’s not, please contact me ASAP. In case of any further questions or queries, please feel free to contact me and mention your order#Ltodn4UUdyp1a5BofNWE.
Hi Fajar,
My sincere apologies for the trouble here. It looks like my OpenAI API account hit its monthly limit, and even though I have request OpenAI to increase that, it seems it’s taking some time to get that actually implemented. Hopefully this issue would auto resolve in next few hours. Sorry for the inconvenicne.
Regards, Akbar
Hello, when we want to convert the srt file from Turkey with openAI GPT, it does not accept the payment. There is no paypal in Turkey. There are papara and ininal companies in Turkey. How can I pay at this point?
Thanks for the input and sorry for the inconvenience. I’m working on supporting other payment methods soon, but in the mean time, you can try the Crypto Balance load feature.
More details on how to use top-up balance for payments here:

Hi, it seems that jQuery library has been moved from ajax.googleapis.com somewhere else. Page is not working.
Interesting, can’t seem to reproduce this in quick testing? Are you having this problem on any specific page? Could this be related to any of the extensions you have installed? Like if you try to load the website in Incognito mode, do you still get the problem?

Akbar, thanks for yr last message. Again also this one,it got only 50% Song of Scheherazade Russian subtitles (1947) 1CD srt
Thanks! I tried that file too and it worked perfectly too i.e. all lines were translated. At this point I’m thinking it’s not something related to the the subtitle file. Do you experience this for all subtitle files or only some of the subtitle files partially translate? If this is for all subtitle files, I think it’s probably related to the Browse and/or Operating System and not subtitle file. So, if you can tell me more about the one you are using i.e. which browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc) and which Device/OS (Windows, Mac OS-X, Android, iPhone, etc), I can see if I can help isolate the issue.

On this sub
force.10.from.navarone.(1978).fre.1cd.(9721403) from Opensubs
Thanks.
Sorry for the trouble. I assume you are using Google Translate? I was not able to find this exact subtitle file (probably searching this incorrectly), but I downloaded subtitle of this file and they seem to translate correctly using Google translate.
If you can send me a screenshot of the issue, I can probably see what could be going wrong there.

Teanslate goes only half of the movie. Thanks.
Hello, good time. Please add a way to charge my account in the digital currency payment gateway. I don’t have a Visa card or a Coinbase account.
Hi J,
You don’t actually need a Coinbase account. If you already have any other digital currency like (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc), you can do make direct payments from your digital wallet too. To do that click on the “Coinbase” button and then instead of selecting “Pay with Coinbase”, just select the other crypto-currency you own and you can directly transfer to my coinbase wallet address from there. I’m using Coinbase as it lets me validate and automate payments quickly, but it’s not definitely not required.
Hope that helps.

Hi,
would it be possible to add hebrew to the target languages ?
It’s a small country, and not many foreign films get hebrew srt files, so it might become popular here.
Best Regards,
Yoav
Sure, thanks for your suggestion. I will try to add that soon. I assume you are looking for this language support in OpenAI Chat-GPT translator, right?

Hello,
I’ve used your basic translation service for (mostly) English to Vietnamese translations. Not sure how good they are as I am not a fluent Vietnamese reader but I assume they aren’t great considering I have used Google Translate for other translations between English and Vietnamese – I don’t supposed you might have an idea what other maybe better options might be available for translation between English and Vietnamese?
Although I genuine question it’s not the primary reason I am messaging you which is if you have any idea why translation speeds over the last couple weeks have decreased a lot. Having started a transaction prior to writing this it is now only at 35% and will undoubtedly stop with notification of errors. Although I can largely resolve this by manually forcing the file to scroll to the end it is strange and was also an issue using the similar service at substranslator [dot] com which is also having other issue and completely inoperable at the moment.
Thank you for the service and any feedback you may have.
GD
Hi Yoric,
Thanks for your feedback. Regarding your first question on the translation quality of Google Translate and other for English to Vietnamese, I can’t say for sure how correct this is. But for my native language, I think I find the translation provided by Microsoft and DeepL API, a bit more on the better side. These are still far from perfect and requires manual editing after the translation to make the translation reasonable for users. But this machine translation does give some head start.
Regarding the slow translation speed query, a few other users have reported about this and I have tried to optimise too recently. Another limiting factor which may trigger sometime is that Google Translation widget imposes its own speed and restriction limits based on user IP. These gets more tight as you do lot of translations. I guess their server is trying to avoid exploits of their free translation service. But obviously none of this is in my control. I would suggest that you try to manually scroll through the page in case you get any slow speed and then click on the “Translate” button again. The second or third translation is usually very fast in my experience. I know this is not perfect solution, but I will keep exploring ways to improve this.

Hello dear friend, I want to pay for ChatGPT Translation feature, but I can’t pay via paypal due to regional reasons, can you add a new payment feature? For example: alipay
Thanks for getting back to me and sharing the interest. I will definitely think about supporting other payment gateway pretty soon.
Regards, Akbar
Hello: Akbar. I would like to pay for ChatGPT Translation function, My PayPal account is working well, but I tried several times, still cat not pay here.
Hmm… What error(s) do you get when selecting the payment? I can’t seem to find any failures for your user in my website logs, so can’t see what’s going wrong here.
Regards, Akbar
Hello! I’ve downloaded the file but it’s not working anywhere, and it’s not a .SRT file, can I have some help please ? Thanks
Sorry for the trouble. If you can share the first few lines of the file, I can see what’s wrong with it.
Regards, Akbar
Good morning, Akbar!
Unfortunately, the payment via PayPal is not working at all. How else can I top up my balance on such a fantastic service?
Sorry for the trouble. Do you get any particular error on top-up? I just tried, and it seem to be working for me. If you can share the exact error details, I can see what else can be done to fix this quickly.

hello, we use your software a lot. Thank you for developing it. I have a question. I have a project srt file with English subs. We have had to edit the project further and added some Ukranian language. I have the English translation for this, but my question is this. Can I add new text before, in the middle and at the end of the current .srt file ?? Please do let me know.
Thanks for the feedback. For your query, if I understood this correctly, you are looking for Subtitle Editor, which lets you insert new subtitle rows in an existing subtitle file. If yes, I think there are some really good subtitle editors out there (most of these are free). Just search something like “Subtitle Editor” or “Online Subtitle Editor”, and you should find dozen of really good software which does the job you are looking for. I hope this help. I haven’t used any personally, so can’t make an exact recommendation here.

Hello, dear friend, make a website application and make it for faster translation of movie subtitles
Thanks! It’s already on my to-do (or wishlist). Let’s see how soon I can get enough free time to work on this one.

Add translation support to Emoji via Yandex translator
Interesting! Never heard of that. While I think this might work for the translation itself, it may not play well in most (if not all) video players. As most of the subtitles formats are text translators and don’t support a large set of emojis. I will however add this to my exploration list to see if it can work somehow.
