I just generated english subtitle file in SRT format, file size is 84kb, was created using Davinci Resolve, your side is saying file is invalid, please advise what I am doing wrong?
Hi Cam, all this sounds very logical. The only thing I can think of is that probably the file created by Davinci Resolve use some extension/format of the SRT which I don’t support (I’m using very simple file parser). Is it possible to share first few lines here, or email me the SRT file for further analysis?
Wow your website is a savior. The best among the other translation websites. As we say in Turkish, “iyi ki varsınız”. Thank you so much for your hard work.
The translation from Norwegian to English is very wrong in basic words; For example the Norwegian word Nei, should be translated No, but being most of the time translated “in the”… if standing alone. In a sentence, it’s more correctly translated to No…. Same with “Ja”, that should be translated Yes, but being translated “and”.. I have checked it in google translate, and it is being translated correctly there….
Thanks for the feedback Trygve, and sorry to heaer about the problem. May be these translation incosistences are due to the incorrect line or word break in the sentences. Can you share one full sentence having this problem? Also, did you try with other translators (Yandex or Microsoft) to see if they perform better?
Thanks for the feedback. That dual-sub function is already supported. Once the translation is done, you can click on the “merge” displayed in header of the “Original Text” column. You can then toggle the display order and style by clicking the alignment icon in the “Translated Text” column. I hope that helps.
Very good

Could you add dual sub fuction (ex: Eng + Translated) in a .srt file.
