Thanks for the effort to provide this essential tool, but the translation has many many mistakes. I’m an English teacher and I see only English movies all the time, and a good technique to keep my English fresh and updated is subtitled Movies. I also recommend my students to do so.

      Dear ManuHernz,

Since this tools provides machine translation, it will not be accurate and may never match the human translation level (at least in very near future). Hope you understand that.

This translation is wonderful site, helps me a lot in my work, I use almost every day. I have two suggestions:

1-when I go to save a translation waste time with two options: have to choose again the same destination folder and rename the file to remove the language suffix, when in fact I need to replace the original file.

2-it would be fantastic if I had an option to place the files in translation queue (Batch). This would increase the productivity for 1000%

Thanks for the work of OpenSource

      Marcos,

      1. Actually, many people prefer to keep the original file, so that’s why I added this extra suffix option. I will see if instead of always doing this, I can make this a configurable option.

      2. I’m not sure I fully understand your request. Can you please explain in more details, with some example so that I can understand what you are looking for?

      Regards, Akbar

Can you try this in VLC player? Looks like your video player is not recognising the UTF-8 format.

Amazing…I did the translation by myself, line after line. Maybe that’s not the point, but using Gtranslate doesn’t do the trick for certain languages. Thanks, great page.
