When you try to translate what happens? Is it fail with some error message, or seem to be stuck somewhere? As this uses the Google Translation, so ideally should work fine.

For the character display issue, does the arabic characters appears bad on website, or only during the movie play? If during move play, what player you are using? Can you try this with VLC Player?
Is your subtitle file very large? If it’s small, it may be it was a temporary glitch. If you get this result with all your subtitle files, can you please send me one sample file for debugging?
