  1. Your site is very useful to me. Have you ever considered including DeepL as a translator, since it is very good at that, it even has an API.

Thanks John. DeepL has been long in the list, but unfortunately it only provides paid API, so will have to bring in some payment model. I will see if I can incorporate it soon for users wishing for premium quality.

It’s amazing. Wonderful, so easy and practical. Thanks a lot!!

  3. very good tool, I am translating a course and unfortunately it has many SRT, it is possible that it can upload 5 files simultaneously

    • adminDeveloper

So far only single subtitle files can be uploaded, but will try to support that multiple files soon. This may require using some paid APIs, so need more thought and better design.

  4. I get the message: “IMPORTANT: It looks like your browser doesn’t support the Google Translator widget”
My browser is Microsoft Edge 44.18362.449.0
Used to function a few months ago.
    Has anything changed?

    • adminDeveloper

Thanks Jan, I just checked this in Microsoft Edge, and it seems to work for me. Did you try to upgrade your browser version? BTW, if you are using IE or some other legacy/limited browser then its a known limitation. If possible, try using Chrome or Firefox and see if that helps.

  5. Thank you so much. God bless you.

Can you create timing adjuster function, so that suit to video timing

    • adminDeveloper

Interesting! This is probably first request so far asking for the adjusting time functions. As you may have guessed, adjusting time requires some dedicated design and changes for this tool to be of any actual/practical use. There are many other online free tools which specifically do this. But I will see if I can implement something really basic for starters soon.

    Glad I found this tool!
Is it possible to make it work with Russian subtitles? Right now, Russian characters are not being read correctly so the translate fails.

    • adminDeveloper

Sure, it should work fine with Russian subtitles too. Do you know the text encoding of your subtitles file? If it’s UTF-8, it should work fine. If it’s not, you need to first convert this to UTF-8 (there are few online tools which can do this for you). If still run into issues, please do let me know.

      Regards, Akbar
