      Are you using the “Translate” button to translate after selecting the target language?

    Hey, it’s a good tool, thanks. Do you think that there might come the option to see the character per line count anytime in the future? At the moment I’m just copy-pasting the segments to character counter. Thanks! πŸ™‚

      If you can explain the use case scenario on how you plan to use this count, I can build this more intuitively in the user interface.

    I have had this problem for a few days: after dropping the .srt file in the white box, the page remains blocked, the next screen in which to choose the language to translate is not offered. the browser is firefox. what can it depend on? Thanks for the attention

      Maybe some browser extension or security software is disallowing the file upload (or causing it to fail). Did you try with any other browser i.e. Chrome and see if that works?

  5. Hi. I am trying to use Google translate to translate subtitles from English to Italian. Of course a lot of the dialogue has to be corrected, often because if a caption is divided into two or more lines each line is read as a separate sentence (a very common mistake in translators). But what I would like to bring to your attention is that I find an error when correcting the text. In practice, the old, incorrect text is not erased properly, leaving bits of sentences that are impossible to delete. Am I the only one to encounter this problem? Thank you.

      Thanks for the feedback Tony! I’m not sure if I have run into this editing issue before, or someone else has also reported this one before? Do you have any examples of what’s left behind as you edit lines? Are these HTML tags, words, or some other symbols. Like if you can share a source line and what’s left after editing, I will see if I can improve the editing experience.

    Please Add an option for select ‘rtl’ or ‘ltr’.
    because it has problem with showing a ‘ltr text’ in a ‘rtl text’

    Hint : Use this code!
    .translatedSubtitles.divTranslatedText.secondRow {
    text-align: right;
    direction: rtl;
    }

      Isn’t this what is already supported by clicking on the Left/Right Align toolbar icons in the search columns? Or Am I missing something?

      Is this while using Google Translator? Are you using the “Translate” button or manually scrolling through the subtitles before downloading to make sure all translations are complete?

      Sure, this doesn’t look like something hard to support. If you can also explain to me how you plan to use this info, I may be able to integrate this nicely in the UI pretty soon.

    Hi Akbar,
    I am planning to start a non-profit project to translate videos. Is the source code of your project is published? I would like to build on it.
    Thank you,

    • adminDeveloper

      Not at the moment, but I will see if I can extract part of this project soon to make it public.

      Regards, Akbar
