Once the translation is done, click on the “Save As” button in the top right corner to save the translated file. If still can’t make it work, please let me know.
I’m also a grateful user of your srt-file translator. I use it mainly for translating TED-talks from English into Dutch. It helps me a lot.
One little question: “In the translated file a — is always rendered as a – .
Is it possible to keep the — ?
Great job Akbar! You saved my life. I have been looking for “Bedrag” ( Follow the money) subtitles in English. Unfortunately, I only found subtitles for Season 2 Episode 1. Despite several attempts, I could not find any website that already had the hard coded subtitles. Finally, I came across your website. I was able to find a website that had the Danish subtitle. I used your website to convert it from Danish to English. Voila! It’s a fantastic tool. Keep up the great work. Good thing is I can stream it from my favorite site since it has the option to load the SRT file without having to download it. Technology is just amazing! I love it.
Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, the translation is totally controlled by Google API, and I don’t have much control over it. May be one day when Google API gets intelligent enough to auto detect the real/proper names, it will stop translating these. But for now you have to bear this.
BTW, once the translation is done, you can use the find/replace feature to replace all translated names with original one. Not that intuitive or fun, but may do the job.
Thanks for the online subtitles translator is it possible to automate the process a bit further by making
a kodi plugin there are mostly english language subtitles for new movies so a kodi add-on would be much appreciated
thanks for you good work http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on_development
Greetings and interesting site help you please your own projects continue to have problems only in Persian verbs and verbs are played thanks to assistance including free
Can you please clarify the issue i.e. is the problem is that translated Persian subtitles are not playing correctly, or the translation quality is not that good? If it’s playback issue, can you please try playing with VLC Player. If it’s overall quality of translation, then it’s machine translation, and I can’t do much about this at the moment.

Thank you very much for this wonderful tool! Would it be possible, though, to configure it so that proper names would NOT be auto-translated? Thanks!

Rata,
What video player you are using? Can you try with VLC player? If still having problem, try this or similar tools for cleanup:
