You are using Google translator or Bing? BTW, I don’t have any time limit on my end, but it may be some kind of limit/restriction imposed by the translator widgets. I will look into this once I get the answer.

you should consider building this out so users can integrate it as a daemon in conjunction with emby/plex. plex scans movie then subzero looks for sub files, itll find the common languages. then your tool would run and scan for a missing language and use google/bing to create a robot version of korean or hindi.

Thanks Liam for the suggestion. It looks like an interesting suggestion, but unfortunately with current translation model, it may not be easily possible to fully automate this process. I will add this to to-do list for sure.

Unfortunately, with current translators it’s not possible to support multiple files as they have the limit on number of characters which can be translated in one session. Sorry for the inconvenience.

So when you click on the Save-As button, nothing happens? Have you checked your download folder? What browser you are using? Can you try with latest Chrome or Firefox and see if that helps?

If you can explain the problem in more detail e.g. if the translation doesn’t work, download fails, or the translated file doesn’t play correctly, I can be of more help.

This is known limitation, which I don’t have any easy workaround for now. However, I plan to work on a new API soon which may solve this problem.

It’s similar to what you do with other languages. Simply upload your subtitles file, select your target language (Hindi in this case), and once the translation is done, download the file and use it with your favorite video player (recommended VNC for beginners).

    Hello
Even after scroll, now only 100 lines can be translated?
    This is a new limitation?

Already tried with googel and Bing.

    Thanks

I haven’t set any limit. May be some daily quota/limit was reached, or it may have been a connection problem. But now this seems to be working fine. Please let me know if you keep running into this issue.

I make a goose new srt file with your software; old I remove from the movie folder; So stay over: the srt folder edited by your software and the movie file; give them both, the same name,
as it should be; When you play the movie, it is still
always the same language as for processing with
your software, the subtitles are not translated,
but have been translated into the file!
When playing back the old language? John

Hmm… this is weird. Can you make sure that you have only the translated SRT file you movie folder. May be move the original file to some other folder. If this still doesn’t work, can you try with any other video player like VLC, and see if that help resolve the problem?

  20. Hello, I’m from Brazil, I was looking for a site like yours, I translated the caption of a movie using your website, but when it comes to watching the movie 20 minutes later the caption goes back to the original language. could you point me to some website that might actually save the file edit in the desired language, or give some help. Thank you for listening. Thank you.

Most probably not all the lines in subtitles file were translated. Once you upload the file, please scroll through all its contents to get these translated properly. Please see FAQ section above for details.

Hmm… memory should not be a problem as it works with very small file sizes. What browser you are using? Can you try with latest Chrome or Firefox and see if that help resolves the problem?

Thanks for the service. Could you add the deepL translator ? It is limited to a few languages, but perhaps the best around at the moment, German breed: https://www.deepl.com/translator

Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately, these deepl doesn’t provide free API. So to keep everything free and not have any extra costs on my end, I don’t see this being supported soon. However, if there is more demand for this, and people are willing to pay for this additional service, I can think about this.

I’m using the Google and Bing widget/APIs for the translation, so you can use the same. If looking for any other type of integration API, please let me now how I can help.
