Thanks for the feedback Thomas! Unfortunately, no, currently you can’t use your own account. But honestly you are the first person asking about this. So if this is something which can benefit you or others, I’m more than happy to support that. I was never happy with the idea of paid translations, but had to do this as people demanded that. If there is some way where people are willing to use their own account, I can support that.
Hi Akbar, how are you? I have an 1 hour 40 minute english language interview (video) and we want to subtitle it into Arabic. Is this possible? Do we need to have the video with english captions on? Currently there is no captions. Appreciate advice on how this could work. Thank you!
Hi, this particular tool is only for translating subtitle files, which are already extracted from the video file in some TEXT format (.SRT, .SUB, .VTT, etc). However, it looks you like you still have a video file. In this case, you first need to generate/extract subtitles for that video. Obviously, you can do this manually, but there are many online tools to do this as automatically too. There are some also professional paid services which can do that for you (veed.io, rev.com, ec). I don’t have any link with any of these.
If you are looking for free options, one possible solution I know is to upload this video to Youtube as a private video. Youtube video processor auto generates the English subtitles for the uploaded video files. You can then download SRT file and translate it here. Youtube studio also can translate subtitles, so that’s one option as well. I hope this help.
Thanks Akbar for this amazing tool. I was looking for an Arabic subtitle for a new movie every where but I failed to find it. I only found some English subtitles until I Finally found your site and solved my problem. Thanks again.
One possibility could be that Russian subtitle file is not UTF-8 encoded. Any other file encoding will have similar problems. There are many online tools which lets you convert file to UTF-8. Please try these and then try again with files with correct encoding. If continue to have problem, please share the file with me.
I have enjoyed using your utility for over a year and I thank you so much for your hard work.
Do you have PayPal account so I may send some helpful money for your google translate api fees?
Man thanks so much for this. You’ve been a real blessing. I was assigned transcribing a whole bunch of videos. Got english captioning but then this helped me easily generate captions for so many other languages. Thanks a bunch mate
Thanks for the feedback. Do you get this issue while uploading the file, or when playing translated video? If it’s during upload, I would suggest first try to convert the file to UTF-8 (there are many online tools to do that). If this is during playing video, I would suggest try with VLC Player which I know support the UTF-8 files fine.
thanks for making this website for free.
Good application
Dear Akbar,
great tool, thank you. One question: is the translation with Deepl also chargeable if I have a Deepl account?
Best regards
Thomas

Es rápido y eficaz, pero sigue sin reconocer símbolos del español
