Maybe you can add a button to lock down the scroll so we click it and wait…
still, very useful, simple and acurate.

Yes, that’s normal for Google Translator. Please scroll and make sure all the lines are translated before downloading.

One of the best sites every for everyone who wants subtitles in their desired language. And, the credits goes to MR. Syed Akbar who has done a marvelous job. I hope one day I pay him big bucks for keeping up this project forever. I have not only used this site for many years but also recommended to people around me who wanted such services. Mr, Akbar, there are some problems in conversion such as in arabic and latins to english, do look into that. Until then you are best man online.

Thanks for the feedback. Glad that you like the service.

Regarding the arabic conversion issue, can this be due to file encoding? If you can explain more about this issue, like the arabic character doesn’t appear correctly, translation quality is poor, etc, I can look into these.

      Regards, Akbar

Your website works great for me. Of course any online translator is a “jist” translation, and you’ll have to edit it. But you have already provided for that, on your web page! Great idea! I tried just dropping the file in, and it gave a partially translated subtitled. When I used the “page down” key, it translated and saved the whole thing. Works great, and very simple. Thanks so much!

it seems that files converted to .srt using subtitle edit do not work

This might be a file encoding problem? When you upload the file, do you see garbage characters, or the translation simply doesn’t work correct?

under the Translation tab in options in Preferences! both the translate from and to categories just say loading and give no other options, some of the Russian subs wont translate, I tested them in google translate and they automatically detect the Russian subs as English which may be why they will not translate here, if i manually change the the incoming language in google translate to Russian they translate it fine so I think I just need a way to do that here

it seems like certain Russian subs won’t translate, when I try to translate them on google translate they do but I have to manually switch the translate language to Russian because google translate detects the language as English automatically for some reason and that may be why it wont translate is there a way to manually set the incoming language on here?

This may be due to a browser or extension security. I would suggest trying another latest browser and see if that helps

Subtitles simply doesn’t load, or you get the garbage characters? If the subtitles simply doesn’t display, make sure you are naming the file same as the source video file. Like if you translating with default settings, it may add the language code in the file-name. Please remove this from the file name and see if that helps?

Hey Akbar, I have several sources to translate. The first translation was ok but the others I had to modify Translate to: English to any other language then set back to English in order the translation begins.

Congrats and thank you so much!

Thanks for the feedback. If you are using Google translator, then one workaround for this could be to simply close the translator widget at the top. This should reset all the translation, and then you can select the new language. Hope this helps.

      Regards, Akbar
