    Please Add an option for select ‘rtl’ or ‘ltr’.
    because it has problem with showing a ‘ltr text’ in a ‘rtl text’

    Hint : Use this code!
    .translatedSubtitles.divTranslatedText.secondRow {
    text-align: right;
    direction: rtl;
    }

      Isn’t this what is already supported by clicking on the Left/Right Align toolbar icons in the search columns? Or Am I missing something?

      Is this while using Google Translator? Are you using the “Translate” button or manually scrolling through the subtitles before downloading to make sure all translations are complete?

    Hey, it’s a good tool, thanks. Do you think that there might come the option to see the character per line count anytime in the future? At the moment I’m just copy-pasting the segments to character counter. Thanks! 🙂

      Sure, this doesn’t look like something hard to support. If you can also explain to me how you plan to use this info, I may be able to integrate this nicely in the UI pretty soon.

    Hi Akbar,
    I am planning to start a non-profit project to translate videos. Is the source code of your project is published? I would like to build on it.
    Thank you,

      Thanks, sure, if I get enough interest from the community, I can easily integrate this IBM translator API too.

    Hello, I’m having some trouble with payment for DeepL translation. I’m trying to pay with card from Revolut, the first try I get alert from Revolut for balance validation and nothing more.

      Hi Gabriela, thanks for reporting this back to me, and my sincere apologies for the trouble. Unfortunately, it looks like this card is somehow being rejected/ignored by PayPal. The PayPal service is not even sending a success/failure message back to my server. I’m sorry, but at the moment, I don’t have any workaround for you. I assume you can’t (or don’t want to) create PayPal account. If you can that would probably be the easiest option.

      Is this problem is for a few lines in a subtitle file or for the full file? If only with a few lines, does it happen only at the end of the subtitles file, or do you see this in the middle or starting lines too?

    Is something wrong with your server today? SRT file will not upload and keep seeing popup ad for Cloud Error. Too bad, your site is the most friendly srt translator.

      Thanks for reporting this issue. I don’t know of any such issues, and on my quick try, the page seems to load and translate fine for me. Is the error you are getting from the Cloudflare.com? If you continue to have problems, it would be great if you can send a screenshot of the problem report so that I can investigate this accordingly.

    hello. thanks for your application it has been very useful to me. I get the impression that it slows down after the first translation until it stops.

      Is this when using Google Translator? When this happens, can you please try to re-open this website on a new tab and see if that improves performance? Just trying to isolate if it is a translator issue/limitation or something in the webpage itself cause it to slow down.

      Regards, Akbar

        I’ve noticed the same issue, happens when loading more than 5 subtitles (srt format though i’m not sure if format is the cause in this case, just a mention).
        When i load 6 or more subs the first 2 will translate and finish quite fast but at the 3rd or 4th you cleartly notice it slows down drasticly up to a point where the visible “real time” translations go off screen and cant keep up with the visible text scrolling down, asin delayed.
        When this happens, the last 10 – 20 subtitle lines at the bottom will not translate at all and this seems to happen with every subtitle that comes after the first 3 or 4, so files 1 to 3 get translated fine, but 4 to 20 are missing translations on the last 10 – 20 lines each file.

        I experience the exact same issue on Mozilla Firefox and MS-Edge, so i dont think its a browser issue.

        I also noticed that manual scrolling goes much faster than auto translate fyi.
        lets say when i press the mouse scroller button on the subtitle text field, i can scroll by moving my mouse up and down, the more distance the faster the text will scroll, ive tested the “limit” (as at some point the translator will delay when you pass the limit) and i’d say it goes atleast 3x faster manually compared to auto.

          Thanks for the very detailed feedback. It looks like there is definitely room for improvement here if the manual scrolling is way faster. I have done some improvements to the overall translation speed and also to fix the missing translation at the bottom of the file. I’m now getting about 50% faster overall translation speed. Please let me know how it goes for you.

      Thanks for the feedback. A couple of questions to isolate what’s going wrong here. Are you using Google Translator, and if yes, do you translate the files by clicking on the “Translate” button (where it auto scrolls down)? If not, I would suggest trying it? If the problem still persists, it would be good to know that what’s your average file size with which you are having problems?

    I really enjoy this tool but it would be very convenient if you would add a “keywords list” which allows to add specific words (case sensitive and inclduding punctuation marks) since sometimes they get translated incorrectly, mostly when the word is they only one in the displayed sentence.

    For example:
    The word “Right.” translates to “Rechts” in Dutch when its a single word in a sentence ending with a dot, although it has multiple meanings like “Correct”, “Yes” or “Good” which are confirmations instead of directions.
    A keyword list would allow the user to add “Right.” to the “original language” keywords list and add a “manual language” translation like “Juist.” (this is in 99% of the cases the correct would which “Right.” should have been translated to in Dutch) in order to apply this on every line that consists of this exact keyword “Right.” in all currently loaded subtitles when hitting the translate button to start the processing.

      Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. While I agree, it would be super convenient to maintain and reuse such a list of keywords. In case you don’t already know, there is the existing Find/Replace feature support (by clicking magnifying glass icon in the Translated Text column). This lets you search for a word or sentence and replace it everywhere in the translated panel. It is case sensitive and works with punctuations, so if you use it to replace “Right.” to “Juist.” and it should work as expected. Obviously, this is more painful if you have a long list of such keywords, but at least this is something you can start with. I will think about supporting this keywords list soon.

        Thanks for the advise although i was already aware of the magnifying glass and its features 😉
        Thats the way i currently correct wrong translations, but indeed a keywords list would be very handy when theres multiple specific words and large ammounts of subtitles at the same instance, like 20 (the limit) subtitles having to click the magnifying glass lets say 4 times every subtitle takes up quite the effort while a keyworlds list would be just 1 click 😉
        Still Kudos to your work, its already the best subtitle translator tool in my opinion!

          Thanks again for getting back to me, and I’m glad that you are at least still automating some of the work. As I said earlier, I think your suggestion of a keyword list is a good one, and definitely something I plan to support soon.
