Assalamualaikum brother.my first visit to your site I like very much working on your site.wonderful different tolls great work brother. good luck for the future.
Greetings Akbar. Great app. I’ve being using it for quite some time… Maybe you should consider, to program the app to have the ability, to work with subtitle files, that are using more than one language inside them, and have it locate the one that is foreign and translate only those parts. For example. I’ve downloaded the subtitles for the “Prey 2022” movie, and although the movie and the file, is mostly in English, it has long sequences, where they also speak French, those dialogues are shown, as an untranslated text, remaining in the French Language. When I try to translate the whole file in English, so I can also understand, the parts that have the French dialogues, the app detects that the majority of the text, is in the English, and it fails to do it, so I get the error “Translation failed for dozen of lines, including row#45. Is the target language correct? Internet connection problem?”
Thank you very much, for creating the app.
You take care.
Hi Alexandros, that’s an interesting scenario and one that I never ran into before. However, you have explained this well, and I can see a use for this. So I will think about how to best support this in future.
In the meantime, I think you can still partially translate by Google translator. For this select the target language, but then instead of clicking the “Translate” button, manually scroll through all the content to make sure all French subtitles lines are translated. You can then download the subtitle file as normal. I hope this helps.
Most probably something went wrong with the conversion process. When it fails, the error message also contains the line where the parsing failed. Can you please post the full error message here? Or you can also email me the file for further debugging.
Hi, i didn’t know you already reacted so i wrote the same message over and over again because i thought you might didn’t receive it sorry about that. ‘You can’t upload files of this type.’ is the error message i’ve been getting when I try uploading the file. I will send the file to you. Thanks for your help!
Thanks for sharing the file. As I replied in your message, the problem was that there was no extension in the filename. Once I added a “.srt” in the file-name, it seemed to upload and translate correctly. I hope this helps.
Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, video transcribe is a much more complex and resource-heavy tool. I will see if I can develop something along these line in the long run.
There may be an option in your IDM to auto rename the file on download. Otherwise, I can add an option to show a Save-As dialog if this is a problem for a large audience.
Hi, I have a little problem using this website, I have a download course and its srt file can’t be translated. Error message “invalid time format at line 2”. Pls help me
Most probably it means that the content of the file is not actually an SRT, or contains some other attributes which are not yet supported by my parser script. Do these files have “.SRT
” extension? Would it be possible for you to point me to a copy of the subtitle files, or paste the first few lines here for analysis?
Hi, when using Google Translate, please remember to translate the subtitles by clicking on the “Translate” button. If you still run into any issues, please do let me know.
I found your translations very accurate, however when I downloaded the file it only translated 26:00 mins of the subtitles, the remaining was still in the original language. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?
Thank you.
Thanks for the feedback Pat! You are using Google Translator for these translations? If yes, I would recommend clicking on the “Translate” button to make sure all the lines are translated before downloading. If continue to have problem even after clicking the “Translate” button, please let me know.
After translation, you can save subtitles by clicking the Save-As button (at the top-right corner of the page). If still can’t figure this out, I would suggest going through this overview video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9MIirOR1Xg

Can’t save the translated file at the moment, thanks
Does it shows any error, or silently fail? May be some extension is blocking it? Can you try this in Incognito mode and see how it goes?
Regards, Akbar
thank you
It is the best translator, there should be an option to transcribe and translate videos and movies
Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, video transcribe is a much more complex and resource-heavy tool. I will see if I can develop something along these line in the long run.

muy buen traductor
nice translator. Terima kasih
save all often not work. Duplicate file error from IDM

The Yandex translation has stopped working unfortunately. It’s a shame because Google translation to French is rubbish.
I just tried this and it seems to be working fine. Can you please try using this in a new tab or Incognito mode? Let me know how it goes.
Regards, Akbar
