Hi there Akbar! Thanks A LOT for for this support. It’s been of huge benefit and i’ve used it frequently.
This time though i am having some trouble trying to translate from a source in Greek. It just doesn’t recognizes the coding and some pretty odd signs appear in the cells instead.
    Have a wonderful Friday

Thanks for the feedback Marcio. From our description, it looks like the input file is in a text-encoding which is not recognized/supported by my website. Can you [lease try converting this file to UTF-8 (just google this on the web). If this still doesn’t work, would it be possible for you to send me copy of the subtitle file for further debugging?

      Regards, Akbar

  7. It’s a great app, but if you can add a bulk dial button, it will be great. So we can convert all the files at once. Or, if it is difficult to do, you can add individual files and convert them at once. Then the discount button can be placed one under the other in the same way. Thank you very much for coding the program.

    Dear SyedGakbar,

Thanks for your work on this website,
It’s probably the only site that preserve .ass file format in-tact with great translation,
it’s no wonder why your site is considered one of (if not) the best subtitle translation website.

Your subtitle translator tool is known to be fast and efficient,
wouldn’t you think it’ll be great to translate subtitles in bulk?
translating episodes of TV shows or serials, it is quite time-consuming to work on each, one by one.

Thank you again for your great work 🙂

    Best Regard,
    Phil

Thanks Phil for the feedback and glad to know you are finding that of help.

The bulk translation has been in my to-do list for long. It’s just that I’m not able to get enough free time these days to work on it. However, you input is appreciated and be rest assured that it will be there soon.

Hello, thank you for this site ^^ My problem that I can’t figure out is like this:
The translated sentence seems ok while I’m on the site:
    hayvanlara onları ürkütmeden yaklaşabilir.
But when I export it, it turns out with some kind of “span” codes:
    hayvanlaraonları ürkütmedenyaklaşabilir.

Hmmm.. The Google translator adds these tags when it’s processing content. I then manually remove these from the translated part, but looks like removal code is not perfect and is missing some corner cases. Is it possible to send me copy of your SRT file for further debugging?

Thanks great app, but it would be even cooler, if it would be possible to encode to UTF-8 like this tool https://subtitletools.com/convert-text-files-to-utf8-online

Thanks for the feedback and suggestion. I though I was doing something very similar by auto encoding to UTF-8 where possible. If you have a file where the above tool seems to perform better encoding, please do share with me and I will investigate what it’s doing differently.

What translater you are using? And what’s the average time it’s taking to translate a normal subtitle file for you? I will investigate the last few lines not being translating issue, but I not sure I can do much about much about slowness at the moment.

Hi, it should support couple of other populare formats too e.g .SRT .SUB .ASS or .VTT. Or if there is any other particular format, you want to support, please let me know. Regarding the download format, again, it should be same as the input file format. So are you saying the file extension itself is TXT, but it contains subtitles in SRT format?

It looks like you are running into some timing difference. While I don’t have any direct soluation, there are some online editors which lets you change the timing of the subtitles. Some video players (like VLC), also lets you change the timing as you are playing these with a movie. So you can try these.

I assume it’s not showing the correct subtitle characters when playing the video? If yes, what video player you are using to play these videos. I would recommend VLC Player as it correctly plays the UTF-8 encoded subtitle files.

Is this for an SRT file? If yes, probably it contains some starting or end characters which are not being recognized by the upload verifier. Is it possible for you to send me a copy of the file for further debugging?
